Privacy

Cineplux is Oliver Newth’s private movie and TV service for invited friends and family.

Sign-in and access

Google and WorkOS handle sign-in. Cineplux stores your verified email address, name, WorkOS user ID, access request, approval decision, and decision timestamps. WorkOS may also hold the profile information supplied by Google. Cineplux uses this information to identify your account and control access.

Email and Plex

Resend sends access-request and decision emails. It processes the recipient address, message content, and delivery information, and may record email opens and link clicks. After approval, your email address is used to invite you to the Plex library. Plex manages its own accounts and invitation acceptance. Access approval does not subscribe you to a newsletter.

Hosting and approvals

Cineplux uses Seerr to search for titles and manage requests linked to your account. Your requests are shown to you and the service administrator. Notes Oliver chooses to publish are visible to approved friends.

Plex events refresh library availability and Oliver’s recently watched row. Cineplux retains minimal identifiers and receipt times for Oliver’s recent watches; other viewers’ playback events are ignored by this integration. Plex separately manages its own viewing history.

The service runs on Oliver’s infrastructure behind Cloudflare. Hosting and authentication providers may process connection information, including IP addresses, for operation and security. Oliver reviews access requests. If he connects an approval assistant, request details are shared with that connected assistant to support his review.

Manage your information

Account and approval records are retained while needed to operate access and resolve security or support issues. To ask about your information, correct it, or request account deletion, email [email protected]. Google, WorkOS, Resend, Cloudflare, and Plex also process information under their own policies.
